Get Familiar: O' Sound

I've been a fan of this dude's voice long before I ever met him and ever since we've become acquainted, it's only been #LOVE!! Not only do we have a good amount of random friends in common (Jennifer, what up? LOL) but, we also discovered that we're actually related through marriage :D. Random right? Yeah but, it's cool with me!!

I watched this video like 5 times yesterday... I see you cuzzo!!

Words to Speak - O'Sound (Instrumental by Klassic)

Ms. MusiQ screams out loud: "GET FAMILIAR!!!!!"

Oh Nivea....

Forget the over-done hairstyles, lames wardrobe styling and weird off-screen antics, Nivea is SAAANNNGGG her butt off! I don't know who this Rasheeda girl is (or why she paid her stylist to dress her like THIS....) but it was a GOOD LOOK putting Nivea on this track!!

Rasheeda & Nivea - Say Something Remix

Ms. MusiQ loves dope voices. PERIOD.

Cute!

I like LeToya Luckett... Always have. & she won my vote with this video by having the sexiness that is Keston Karter star in it as her love interest!!

That is one FFFIIIIIINNNNNEEEEE man! Owwww!

Letoya Luckett - Good To Me

Ms. MusiQ thinks they should date and make pretty babies! LOL.

What.... Is... Alla... Dis????

Sooooo... After Nokio went too far overboard in the metro-sexual department, 2 members were replaced with another new person and Sisqo embarrassed the entire world by wearing that RIDICULOUS Borat man-kini thing, Dru Hill has made another come back...... Ummm, why?

I peeped this video on WSHH and of course, I cringed the whole way through it! Jazz's voice isn't as smooth as it use to be, Nokio's hair & wardrobe stylists need they ass beat and Sisqo sounds like he drank an extra shot (or three) of JD's before getting in the booth! Oh and new guy... who are you again??

PS. Boybanders who drop off the face of the earth and come back years later in their "new and improved" MANband form need to STOP DOING CHOREOGRAPHY!!! Smh.... #c'monson!

Dru Hill - Love M.D.

Ms. MusiQ is in migraine mode.

We Are The World remake....

*Sigh*
In the spirit of MJ and for the good of Haiti, I will keep all comments about what is angering me about the new version of this video/song to myself!

I appreciated seeing and hearing some of my favortie artists, like (our Canadian natives) Melanie Fiona and Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Josh Grobin, Mary J. Blige, Pink, Bebe Winans, Toni Braxton, Gladys Knight, Anthony Hamilton, India.Arie, Mary Mary, etc.... Omg, there were so many great performers and singers on this rendition....

And then, there was A LOT of pointlessness as well.
The rap section?? Ummm, as my homie @TikaSimone would say, "I can't handle the pressure!"

Various Artists - We Are The World (2.0)

Your thoughts??

Ms. MusiQ is sooooo happy that they kept MJ's original performance in it, as well as had a cameo if Janet with him!! #L-O-V-E

RIP: Alexander McQueen

I had a few reservations about doing this post because honestly, and from the bottom of my heart, I cannot fathom why someone would go and take their own life. I know everyone walks a different path and life can be unbearably stressful at times but.... to commit suicide?? Such an unnecessary cop-out, in my humble opinion, of course.

Having said that, I cannot deny the design genius of the late, Alexander McQueen. I will not sit here and speculate on what he went through in his life because I was not in his shoes.... I will, however, post up some of his dope designs.

I always give credit where it's due!

Ms. MusiQ... Music makes my LIFE!

Shame on me!

I am completely ashamed to admit that before last night, I've never heard of Kim Burrell :(

I caught the end of the BET Honors 2010 and she came out to sing a tribute to Whitney Houston. All I know is, I don't remember breathing during her set!!

Kim Burrell - I Believe in You and Me

And my girl Mrs. Hudson had to shut it down for Whitney too!
